Privacy Policy

I process your personal data on the following grounds:

Information Collected on the Server

When you browse pages on this website, download, install, or use the desktop software, I collect no information.

When you create a user account, I collect and store the data you submit in the registration form of this web site, or registration screen in the desktop software. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard one-way hashing practices.

When you generate software licences – either through this website or by using the “Online software activation” screen in the licensing tool – the server collects your computer ID.
The licensing tool also supports offline activation, which does not contact the server.

For fraud prevention, the server also collects IP addresses used to register accounts, reset passwords, log in, and generate licences.

Information Stored on Your Computer

The desktop software stores preferences in the system registry.
The software itself does not transmit this data anywhere. However, other software on your system (such as cloud backup services or system monitoring tools) may have access to registry data.

When you use the “Online software activation” screen in the licensing tool, your email address (but not the password) is stored in the registry in encrypted form.

When you log in to your user account through the login form on this website, the website uses a cookie. The cookie is first-party, strictly necessary, and expires after 3 hours.

How I Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

When you purchase a licence, your e-mail address is shared with Paddle.com Market Limited, a UK-registered company, who process payments on my behalf. Paddle act as Merchant of Record for all transactions; their privacy policy governs how they handle your data.

I do not disclose your personal information to any other third parties.

International Transfers

Your personal data is stored in EU jurisdiction.

For disaster recovery purposes, I also keep personal encrypted backups in Montenegro. I am the sole party with access to these backups.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information.
Contact customer support to exercise these rights.
That email handles privacy requests too.

Please note that if you request deletion of your account after purchasing a permanent licence, your purchase history will be deleted along with it. I will no longer be able to regenerate your licences, and this cannot be undone.

Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active, and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint. If you are in the UK, contact Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the EU, contact national data protection authority in your country of residence.
